- I am a published author who writes in several genres including science fiction, mystery, romance and the paranormal. I have been writing for over thirty years. I actually started writing when I was a teen-ager, although I didn't submit any of it for publication. I started to write in earnest as a challenge to myself. I really wanted to see if I could write a full-length novel, not just short stories or the technical papers that was my profession in the aerospace industry. Publication finally came after many years of perseverance.
My early interest in space and working in the space industry had captured my imagination and was instrumental in writing my first novel in The Sarah's Landing Series—Sarah's Landing-I-Contact. The first book in the series was published in hardcover, soft-cover, e-book and as an audio book. The audio book won the APA award for one of the best audio books in 2001. All four books have now been contracted for and released in ebook format by Write Words, Inc., ebooksonthe.net. The first book in the series — Contact will be re-released in print by their imprint Cambridge Books within the next few months, and the other three books in the series — The Telepaths of Theon, The Barbarians and Genesis will follow suit.
When the series was completed, I thought about writing a mystery novel. The mystery novel turned out to be a Romantic Suspense/ Mystery/Thriller with a touch of the paranormal. It surprised me to say the least. I didn't know I could write in that genre. That novel, which turned out to be the first in a series, has now been published, by Write Words, Inc., imprints: ebooksonthe.net, as an e-book, and in print by Cambridge Books. All three books in the series have been published in ebook format and in print. The first book in the series, The House On The Bluff was released in print in 2006. The second book in the series, the Gatekeeper's Realm was released in print on 1 June 2007 by Cambridge Books. The last novel in the series, Adam's Point was released in print by Cambridge Books in 2008.
I am a former aerospace software engineer, an Honors graduate of Fitchburg College earning a BS Degree in Engineering and Management. I also served as an officer in the Massachusetts Chapter of the National League of American PenWomen.

Trust you all had a great 4th of July. We went down to my brother's house near the Cape (Cod that is) and spent the day visiting with friends and relatives we haven't seen in a long time. My daughter finally arrived home from California after fifteen or was is twenty years? She didn't come alone, she brought her three cats with her knowing full well I'm not a cat person. Now I've got cats running all over the place and to tell you the truth, it's hard not stepping on them. I never know where they are...one is particular is as black as the midnight sun. When she decides to let you know where she is she opens her eyes and two Citrine colored eyes look out at you and you can't help but laugh. That by the way is her name "Citrine". More later.
