Earthquake

We finally heard from our granddaughter who is teaching in China. All of the volunteers in her area are safe. She's in Changsha, to the east of the earthquake area. She said her students noticed that everything in the classroom was swaying. They didn't know what had happened at first. I cannot imagine what those poor people are going through. Life got better

The rain has stopped. The sun is shining. It's warm. I think it might finally be spring! And my horseshoer is coming on Monday which is good since my mare has lost a shoe. Life is definitely looking up!

Frustration

This is definitely a bad hair day. First of all, it's raining and I have ton of things to do outside. Second, my equine vet came. That was a good thing. However, his bill wasn't as good as I would have liked but, then, I only see him once a year. Third, my horseshoer forgot to call me to say he had to cancel coming today because so many horses were foundering because of the rich grass around here. At least he'll show up on Monday. Fourth, my computer is slower than molasses because it's raining… Continue
