The Readers' Station

Readers' Station - Where Authors and Readers Meet

Welcome to the Readers' Station. The Readers' Station tour guides transport you to other places, times and worlds for "trips of a lifetime". You can travel through the pages of our books.

Welcome To The Readers' Station

I want to extend a warm welcome to each person who enters the Readers' Station. This group started as a site to connect with readers and writers and to discuss the places that we can transport readers through the pages of our books. We have a couple of discussion groups where we post info about our book settings - feel free to post information about the settings of your novels.

We also discuss book promotion and you are welcome to join in. After you set up your profile - feel free to drop by the forums to tell us about what is happening with you and definitely visit the Introduce Yourself area and tell us about yourself and your writing or what you like to read. The forums and the groups provide a variety of information and places to post details about your work. Also, the event calendar works great and you can tell us all about your book signings and other events.

Any questions, feel free to post a comment on my page or send me a message :)

Backyard Tragedy

I was a student at George Washington University when I first heard Washington, DC described as "where local news is national news." Catchy, and true. I've lived most of my life in and around Washington and, not surprisingly, I've been privy to many historical events, good and bad. Even out here in Annapolis -- 22 miles and a lifestyle away from the District -- we aren't immune. Years ago, when the DC Sniper targeted Benjamin Tasker Middle School in nearby Bowie, that was too close for comfort. A… Continue
